Your Revit Data

Quick Room processes rooms, tags, parameters and profiles locally on your computer. Your Revit models, drawings, room data and profile contents are not sent to our licensing service. The add-in does not send analytics or automatic error reports. Error details are written to a log file on your computer and leave it only if you choose to send them to us.

Trial and License Verification

Quick Room offers a one-time 15-day trial. On first use, simply opening the add-in does not start a trial or send a licensing request. The trial starts after you choose Start 15-day trial and the service successfully creates your trial record. Verifying the same device again does not restart the trial.

After you request a trial or save a license key, Quick Room may verify your access when you open it or use its features. If your first trial request cannot connect, a later verification may complete it. You can also verify access from Manage license using Check connection or by submitting a license key.

Verification sends a hashed device identifier, a random request identifier and, when applicable, your license key over a secure connection. The original Windows machine identifier is not sent. The hashed identifier allows us to recognise the same device; it does not make the record anonymous.

Cloudflare hosts our licensing service and receives connection information, including your IP address. Our service uses a hash of the IP address to limit excessive requests. Quick Room does not use Autodesk account entitlement verification or automatically send us your email address.

Information We Store

We store a hashed device identifier and trial dates to enforce the one-time trial. Paid license records include a hashed license key, expiry date, device limit, activation records and license status. A customer name or email may be added when we administer a purchase. The add-in does not collect payment card details.

Quick Room stores licensing information securely using Windows user protection. Room profiles stay in local files, and project settings stay in your Revit project. Uninstalling may leave local records behind and does not delete server records or undo changes to your project.

Internet and Offline Access

An internet connection is required to start a trial or activate a license. After successful verification, offline access is available for up to seven days, without extending your trial or license expiry. Reconnect before that permission ends to continue using Quick Room. Losing access does not delete your room or tag data.

Retention and Deletion

Trial records are kept to prevent repeat trials and are not automatically deleted when a trial ends. License and activation records are not automatically deleted when a license expires. Deleting a paid license does not delete the separate trial record.

Blocking or moving a license to trash retains its records. Permanent deletion removes the license and its associated activations from the live service; backup copies may remain according to hosting settings. To limit repeated new trials, a hash of the IP address and a daily count are kept for approximately two days and are removed during later service activity. Hosting providers may retain separate connection logs.

Support and Other Services

If you email cctools.app@gmail.com, we receive the message and any attachments you choose to send. Please share only information needed for support. We use Google Gmail for support. Support messages are separate from license records and are not automatically deleted when a license is deleted.

External purchase platforms, Autodesk Revit and websites you visit have their own privacy practices. Our licensing service does not automatically process payments or send activation emails.

This Website

This website sets no cookies and loads no third-party scripts. Cloudflare hosts it and receives connection information, including your IP address.

Your Choices and Contact

You can read this notice in the add-in before requesting a trial or activating a license. Once you have requested a trial or saved a license, opening Quick Room may trigger verification. To stop sending licensing information, stop using or uninstall the add-in.

To request access to or deletion of your information, including support messages, email cctools.app@gmail.com with the subject Quick Room Privacy Request. We may need information to identify your records. Deleting licensing records can affect access. Please do not send your complete license key unless it is specifically needed to resolve your request.

This policy is available within the add-in without an internet connection.
